I arrived in Baguio City around 5AM, and as early as 6:30AM, I was already by the side lines of Session Road to wait for the parade. I wasn't able to enjoy the festival that much, but I was happy I was able to take a picture of this. It's hard to be sitting down as the parade progresses, but adversaries are sometimes blessings in disguise.

I left the house early because I still had to attend the awarding ceremony for the Coke Zero 2010 Resolutions. Before 2009 ended, I saw a Facebook friend joined in the promo, and thinking that I got nothing to lose, I joined as well. Never have I realized that my simple resolution would make me win an iPod Nano (8gb) and a Nike Sports Kit.
I arrived late in the awarding ceremony, but it's still okay, at least I was able to be part of the group picture. Thank you, Coke Zero!

Excitement towards my upcoming trip made me lose my photo mojo for Day 56, so I just took this picture - the decorative birds in our terrace. I already forgot where mom got these decors, but it did make the lousy plant decor come to life.

Time to a self portrait once again. My friend Zen went here in our house, and I wanted to do this particular shot with him as part of the image, but I was a bit shy to ask him, so I waited until dinnertime before I made the shot - asking my brother to pose on the picture instead.
The "I'm Yummy" apron was something I got from the Yummy Magazine event back in 2008, but it was just now that I used it. I am not an apron person really, but for this day, I think it's time for me to use it.

On Day 54, I went to an Internet Cafe near our house because I badly needed to update my sites. It's been quite a long time since the time our PC died, and being a person who rely so much on the Internet, I just wasn't able to take it anymore.
It took me three long hours to finish all the things I needed to do. When I left the cafe, it was getting dark already. I loved the indigo skies and the silhouette of the trees, so I took my camera out for a picture. Wish it was a full moon, but half moon is okay already.

My sister has this star wand that lights up when a button is clicked. Seeing it in the center table, it gave me an idea of playing with it, and realizing that my cell phone has image stabilizers when the night mode is selected, I started shaking the wand as I took pictures of it. I took quite a lot of pictures - some were okay, some were not, but in the end I chose this picture because it kinda reminded me of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" music video. In a way, this looks creepy, too, don't you think?

When we last did grocery, I put in a pack of ox tripe in our cart because I wanted to try how to cook goto (congee with ox tripe). Day 52 seemed to be the most appropriate time to cook it, and even though it would take a long time to cook the food, once I served it in the dining table, it felt really, really good!
Actually, I cooked quite a lot of this, and while having dinner, we had talks about eating the left overs for breakfast the next day, or giving some to the neighbors... but when brother came to refill the bowl, we realized that we have eaten most of it already! Oh well, so much for breakfast and for giving it to the neighbors. :)

True enough, being in the house gives me the "photographer's block." I really struggle to find that would be subject for my project, and as I knock my brains out with ideas what to take pictures of, the answer came when I cooked the rice for dinner. As I scoop out some rice from its canister and poured it over the pot, I just liked how the rice grains looked as they fell from the cup. While waiting for my rice to cook, I went back to the rice canister as started getting some using my hand, and take pictures as I let go of the grains.

Quite a blurry shot of the bullfrog... I only had one shot of him because he hopped away right after I shot the first picture. I don't know what was up with this frog - he was so cranky and all! When I put one of my kittens above the frog, it was still... but when the kitten went away and I aimed my camera on him, he started making noises and started moving. Ugh! Although I am generally not afraid of frogs, I don't want to get all icky and surprised if he jumps on me, so I was a bit cautious while aiming for a shot. Him not cooperating resulted to this blurry image. Oh well...
