197/365 c2 - Pinky

16 July 2010

Day 197 wasn't a good day for me as I was having dry cough, headache... and I am getting hiccups every now and then. Come afternoon, my muscles started aching and I think I might be having flu, so as a first aid, I started drinking water. Water therapy works for me all the time.

Anyway, not really in the mood to roam around the neighborhood, I just went to our neighbor's garden and took a picture of this flower. I am not sure what's it called, but I like how it looked, especially those plants with so many flowers and less leaves. It was a bit tricky to take pictures of it, but whenever I take pictures of it, I can't help but smile.

A beautiful colour and love the contrast of a dark background!

I like the background as it accentuates the flower, and more important, certainly hope you get feeling better soon.

Hi Jenn, I hope you'll feel better soon. Drinking water is the best remedy for flu, I have tried it whenever I feel a flu is coming on me, I tried to drink at least 3 liters of water a day(only when I have a flu), but honestly I seldom drink water.

About the flower, it was Dad's gift when we transferred to our house, the shrub has been standing there for 12 years and has survived so many typhoons, unfortunately I don't the name of the flower but one thing is for sure...it's lovely!

It is a lovely shot but I could not tell you what plant it is without seeing all its parts. Hope you are feeling better.

Sometimes we don't have to go far to find the perfect shot. This one is. Feel better soon!

Hope you feel a bit better today - that background really helps to showcase the lovely bloom.
